James Laverack – My Little Pony: Friendship is magic

It started innocently enough – a couple of episodes on a phone in a quiet corner of the computer lab; hours later James Laverack was on the internet watching more. In no time at all he was arranging to watch the latest episodes from the States being beamed live via the web. He’d turned in to a “brony”, one of the cheered souls who are able to partially get over the struggle of existence thanks to the antics of Twilight Sparkle and her friends in the happy state of Equestria.

James explains the appeal of this kids show to people way out of it’s original target audience and why legions of fans flock to conventions to meet the show’s producers and VO artists. You can find out more at James’ favoured site for all things Equestria Daily, where I expect you will find this very video shortly…
