A special venue like the City Museum was never going to be easy, and to be able to pull it off we had to appeal for a bit of help, and more importantly money – we asked for sponsors. We really weren’t sure what we’d get so we were delighted with the response.
In the run-up to our biggest ever event next week we want to introduce and say thank your to the companies and individuals who are making Ignite Bristol #8 happen, but we’ll start by introducing our host for IB#8.
Peter Brill shared his passion for communications at the very first Ignite Bristol – nearly three years ago – in a talk entitled “Crisis, the Internet and the need for speed“. He’s been a regular attendee since, so we’re really happy that he’s offered to host at Ignite Bristol #8.
But Peter’s commitment to Ignite Bristol runs deeper than passing the microphone between speakers; we are really pleased to be able to say a big “thank you” to his company, Net Mentor – our first sponsors.
“Net.Mentor has only one aim: to help organisations communicate effectively. We do this by planning, creating and delivering powerful, compelling content for web, print and media.”
If you are a fan of Ignite and appreciate that the best night of ideas in Bristol remains free to attend, pay Net.Mentor a favour for helping to make our eighth event happen – check out their website.
